Accelerating New Zealand's transition to a circular economy
In a circular economy the lifecycles of materials are maximised. Their use is optimised. At the end of life all materials are reutilised. A circular economy is restorative by design. It is underpinned by the use of renewable energy. It is a sustainable and viable alternative to the dominant ‘take-make-waste’ linear model.
The Circular Economy Accelerator is part of the Sustainable Business Network. It is focused on speeding up the adoption of the circular economy in New Zealand.
